What is Springathon?

Springathon is our PTO’s annual 5K fun run/walk and fundraiser. All money we raise goes right back to Spring Harbor Middle School - we provide field trip scholarships, enrichment programs, updates to school equipment, and more.

Students can participate in the 5K run/walk and also raise money. Each student that raises at least $5 will be entered into a raffle to win awesome prizes. Every student will also get a Springathon t-shirt (designed by a Spring Harbor student). Students raising at least $250 will win a limo ride to a special outing during a school day.

Ways to Participate

  • Businesses

    Our local business donors make Springathon exciting! We will acknowledge all of our contributors on our PTO website.

  • Parents and Family

    We can’t make Springathon happen without you. There are many ways to contribute, both leading up to the fun run and on the day of the event.

  • Students

    Students can participate in the fun run AND help us raise money. Every student who raises at least $5 will get a Springathon T-shirt and be entered into a raffle to win awesome prizes.

  • Everyone

    Everyone can help! Donate to a student’s fundraising page online. Or you can donate with cash or check on the day of the fun run.

Important 2025 Dates

APRIL 24: KICK-OFF
Students hear about the great prizes and receive a donation packet.

MAY 9: TURN-IN DATE #1 
Students can turn in cash and check donations.

MAY 16: FINAL TURN-IN DATE & EVENT DAY
Students must turn in remaining cash and check donations. 5K fun run/walk and event day!
